17,727 SSC CGL Vacancy Recruitment: Tier 2 Exam Schedule Released

As per the official notification, the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam for the recruitment of 2024 has been scheduled from January 18 to 20, 2025. The exam will be held on September 9 and 26, 2024. Eligible candidates will be selected for 17,727 Group B and C posts..
SSC conducts examination in 4 stages for filling up Group B and Group C posts through Combined Graduate Level Examination process . SSC CGL Tier 2 Pattern is as follows. Tier 2 will be followed by Tier 3 exams.
About SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam
Tier 2 exam consists of 4 papers. Each paper carries 200 marks of questions. The exam will last for 2 hours. See below for details of papers.
Paper-1: Quantitative Abilities (100 questions, 200 marks)
Paper-2: English Language & Comprehension (200 qsns, 200 marks)
Paper-3: Statistics (100 questions, 200 marks)
Paper-4: General Knowledge (Finance and Economics) ) (100 Question, 200 Marks)
Important Notes for SSC CGL Exams
for each wrong answer. 0.50 marks will be deducted.
Paper 1, 2 of Tier 2 is compulsory for all posts.
Tier 2 Paper-3 is only for those who have applied for the post of JSO, Statistical Investigator Grade-2.
