Army Ordnance Corps, which provides material and logistical support to the Indian Army, has issued a notification for filling Group ‘C’ posts on direct recruitment basis. Under this, a total of 723 posts including Material Assistant, Junior Office Assistant, Tradesman Mate are vacant, interested candidates who have completed PUC, SSLC can visit the official website and apply by December 22.

Details of posts and educational qualifications

* Candidates applying for 19 vacant posts in Material Assistant category must have completed Diploma, Graduation.

* 27 posts are vacant in Junior Office Assistant category and 14 posts are vacant in Tele Operator Grade II category. Candidates applying for these posts must have PUC education.

* There are 4 vacancies in Civil Motor Driver Department, 247 vacancies in Fireman department, 7 vacancies in Carpenter and Joiner department, 5 vacancies in Painter and Decorator department, 11 vacancies in MTS department and 389 vacancies in Tradesman Mate department. Candidates applying for these posts must have passed SSLC.

age limit

* Minimum age of the candidates applying for the above posts should not exceed 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 27 years. As per reservation, age relaxation is given for OBC candidates by 3 years, SC/ST candidates by 5 years and PWBD candidates by 10 years.

Application Fee, Selection Procedure and Monthly Salary

* No candidates need to pay application fee. Candidates who applied will be selected through written test and interview.

* Rs 18,000 for the candidates according to the posts. – 92,300 Rs. Salary is given monthly.
