Indian Coast Guard has released a notification for the recruitment of Civilian Group C Personnel. Among these posts are Draughtsman and Peeven posts. Eligible and interested candidates of Diploma, SSLC pass are invited to apply online and the application is allowed till December 15.

Post wise qualifications
Draughtsman Post No: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Construction should be passed. Or Draughtsman certificate in any of the above subjects from educational institutes. Also should have one year experience in any of these fields. Must be in the age group of 18-25 years to apply.
Pevan Post No : Should have passed SSLC or equivalent. Must have two years of experience as an office attendant. Must be in the age group of 18-27 years to apply. This is a multitasking staff post.
Draughtsman Salary Scale | Rs 35400-Rs 112400. |
Pay scale for the post of Peavan | Rs 18,000–56,900 |

Selection Method
Out of the applications submitted along with the prescribed and necessary documents, shortlisted candidates will be selected through a written test. The test will be conducted by asking 80 questions for 80 marks on Mathematics / English / General Awareness / Mental Ability and Reasoning. There will be an hour exam.
